REFUND POLICY

1. The Booking

Your contract is with Camps of Ladakh LLP (Company). This contract comes into force when a tour of your (Traveler/Customer) choice is confirmed by the Company and it has received your booking form along with the booking amount deposit. The travelers are required to furnish all details needed as per the booking form and its relevant section must be correctly and fully completed.

2. Deposit

Upon finalization of the tour, a booking amount deposit of at least 50% of the tour cost per person must be paid to the company.

3. Payment Policy

A 20% refundable payment is required within 10 days of the booking. The balance of payment is required 60 days prior to arrival. Camps of Ladakh LLP reserves the right to cancel the reservation should we not receive the payment as stipulated. Short lead reservations must be paid in full immediately.

4. Tour Cancellation

If you or any member of your group wishes to cancel the tour, you or your group member must notify the Company in writing. The date of communication to the Company and the date the cancellation notice is received by the Company in writing shall be treated as the actual date of cancellation of the tour. The person who has signed the booking form must also sign/endorse the cancellation notice.

Tour cancellation incurs administrative costs and retention charges by hotels. Hence, the cancellation charges shall be applicable as follows:

  • Over 60 days before arrival: Full refund will be issued.
  • Between 45-60 days before arrival: 20% of the total billing amount will be charged.
  • Less than 30-45 days before arrival: 50% of the total billing amount will be charged.
  • Less than 30 days before arrival: Non-refundable, 100% of the total billing will be charged.

Note: This policy does not apply to Train and Flight tickets, which are subject to the airline and railways policies.

5. If You Change Your Booking

If after your confirmation invoice has been issued, you wish to change your travel arrangements, Company will do its utmost to make these changes, but it may not always be possible and may attract charges applied by the respective suppliers.

6. Liability

Camps of Ladakh LLP accepts liability for those arrangements for your holiday/tour which are wholly within its control. However, it does not accept liability in cases such as natural disasters, industrial disputes, or any unforeseen events beyond its control.

7. Complaints

Should you have any complaints, please report the issue to Camps of Ladakh LLP’s Travel Manager at the time, and all necessary steps will be taken to resolve the matter immediately.

8. Domestic Airline Luggage Allowance

Domestic carriers in India allow up to 15 kg of carrier luggage and 7 kg of hand luggage. Extra charges for additional luggage must be paid directly to the airline.

9. Passports & Visas

To travel to neighboring countries from India, you need a valid passport with at least 6 months of validity. Visa processing is not included in the tour cost.

10. Health

Overseas trips may involve physical exertion. Travelers must ensure they are fit for such activities. Travelers must also purchase overseas medical insurance to cover any risks during the trip.

11. Early Check-in / Late Check-out

Standard check-in/check-out times at most hotels are 1400 hours to 1300 hours (IST). Early check-in or late check-out is not included in the tour cost.

12. Extra Uses of Vehicle

Extra usage of vehicles, outside of what is mentioned in the itinerary, is not included in the tour cost.

13. Rights to Amend the Itinerary

In case of events beyond control, the Company reserves the right to change parts of the itinerary for the safety and well-being of guests.

14. Surcharge

The price of your travel arrangement is subject to surcharges in case of fuel price hikes, taxes, etc.

15. General Terms & Conditions

Camps of Ladakh LLP reserves the right to change these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice. The terms are governed by the laws of New Delhi, India.
